Important: There is a lubricant in the channels. Do not remove this. Any excess lubricant on the handle is easily removed with a paper towel. It will air dry, leaving only a light sheen — a normal part of its purpose to make reels glide easily.

This lubricant is not an oil and will not damage cables, clothing, equipment, or surfaces.
 - Safe for PVC, rubber jackets, and insulation — it won’t soften, dry, or crack them.
 - Compatible with common plastics (ABS, nylon, PC, etc.) used in gear.
